Rizomizo Bracelet Class

Sandy had a great class teaching Vezsuzsi's Rizomizo bracelet.  I think the gals all had a great time as well since they finished their bracelets quickly and brought them in to be photographed.  Thank you all for bringing your projects in, and as you can see, they selected beautiful colors.  Click  Rizomizo  for more information about this pattern.

Janet's looks a lot like Christmas.
Loved these colors - makes me think of sorbet

Beautiful fall colors on this one.

Deb has been doing a lot of blue lately
and she did the same for this project as well.
Very elegant looking, don't you think.

Vezsuzsi has a lot of beautiful bracelet and
pendant patterns.   To see more of her work,

Bead Street Christmas Hours

Boise is a winter wonderland with a new snow storm just passing thru. Hopefully, things will melt enough for all of you who are traveling for the Holidays.  I know of a few - please stay safe on the road.

We will be open Saturday, December 21st from 11:30 to 6:00. Sandy will be teaching Marcia Balonis' Petals and Posies Bracelet  and we only have one seat still available - so should be a great class.

Since Christmas is on Wednesday, we will be closed during the week but reopen Saturday, December 28th for those of you who just can't wait to spend those Gift Certificates.

Happy Holidays and best wishes to all.

Rizomizo Bracelet Class

Hope everyone survived all the turkey and stuffing and crowds at the Mall (if that is how you spent your Thanksgiving day).  My friend Barb called from Portland to remind me that every day is a day to be thankful for,  Thanksgiving is just more gravy.  I'm glad she is my friend.

I spent part of the day beading and making some color samples for Saturday's class.  Had to use the beads I had at home, so under other circumstances, I might have used other beads.  Oh darn, guess I'll have to make another.

One of Sandy's samples - sent from her phone and
because it is so shiny, hard to see the detail.
This will be at the store so you can get a better look.

This is Vezsuzsi's original version.

Beautiful colors as well.
We have a couple of seats still available if you would like to take a break and bead among friends.  The December calender is posted at the store and samples will be available for all of the classes coming up. It will be posted here tomorrow as well.  Also, last day to sign up for our big 25 year celebration give away.  Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Thanksgiving Hours at Bead Street

Bead Street News:  We will be closed Thursday for Thanksgiving so staff can either be home or be with family.  We will also be closed Friday to recover from being at home or with family.  Open Wednesday the 27th from 11:30 to 6 and Saturday the 30th from 11:30 to 5.

This is Thanksgiving week and I have so much to be thankful for, so much to smile about.  And you, my friends,  are among my many blessings. Because of all of you, Bead Street is celebrating 25 years in business and we have been so blessed with meeting so many wonderful people along the way.

As a reminder, Wednesday and Saturday are the last two days to sign up for our celebration give-away.  If you can't make it into the store, sign up here to become a blog follower and you will automatically be entered in the drawing.

We have also had a special request to teach Vezsuzsi's Rizomizo bracelet on Saturday from 1 to 3.  If you would like to learn this, either send an email or post a comment here.  We have a few seats available but we have to know by Friday so Sandy can order patterns.  For those of you who have been in the store, this bracelet was the one on the bottom shelf of our display cabinet.

Hope to see you soon and I wish all of you a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving.

Lentille Bracelet Class at Bead Street

Adele Kimpell designed a fabulous bracelet using the new CzechMates two-hole Lentils.  I  don't know how she came up with this method but the way she worked this was genius   It is not a beaded base but actually worked tubular.  Great job Adele.  To purchase her pattern, see Lentille Bracelet under Tutorials in above heading.

Masoumeh's colors were wonderful and
this clasp really complements

Look at the underside of this one.
  Just wonderful.
Deb's looked very elegant and love her
choice of seed beads.
Check out Janet's closure.
She added a button and beaded
ruffled loop closure.  Pretty nice!

Janet did another and added CzechMates
 SuperDuos in strategic places.
Perfect time of year for these colors
This project was scheduled more than a few times and one
day we had both classrooms going.
Here, some of the gals came in on their lunch hour.

A big thank you to everyone who brought in their finished bracelets to be photographed.  I have another group to show you but will put in another post to keep this one from getting too long.  And you won't believe Virginia actually made this into a necklace - twice.

We also still have a waiting list for this project and will be scheduling again in December.  If you would like to attend, please let us know.  The December schedule should be posted in the next week.

Our Grand Re-Opening Celebration is still continuing.  Stop in and register for prizes and gifts.  Become a blog follower on this blog and receive an additional entry.  Lots of great things to be won.

She used CzechMates two-hole Bricks on this side.

This is the other size showing CzechMates

Floral Medallion Class with Czechmates SuperDuos

We had a cancellation in Friday night's Burgeoning Blossom class.  If you are interested (or want to switch from Saturday to Friday night), please let us know.

Bead Street's recent class on our Floral Medallion was a great success.  Gals worked really hard on this difficult pattern but got pretty far in their progress.  Can't wait to see the other finished bracelets.

Great fall colorway with SuperDuos
and Czech glass rounds.

This project works well with a button as a clasp.

We had three students that wanted to create the original turquoise and bronze colors

Kathy wasn't too happy with her first choice of colors
until she got farther along.
I think absolutely beautiful bracelet
,

Created by Amanda - a new beginning beader.
She also selected beautiful colors and
did wonderful work for one of her first projects.

Beaded with translucent CzechMates SuperDuos,
I thought it looked like a different pattern.
Love these colors.

This class will be repeated again in December.  If you would like to learn this pattern, stop in and let us know.  You can click on CLASSES in the above header to see a list of other classes already scheduled.
